Stone healing and strong emotion may be a combination you never thought of, if you consider yourself as a patient person. Patience and a strong fiery attitude (anger) are polar opposites! In fact patience is the remedy for ‘negative’ inner fire like anger, irritation and rage. ‘Negative’ patience, however, leads to stagnation and lack of initiative.
Use stone healing to remedy too much inactivity such as
depression and lethargy with a fiery energy stone like red garnet.
Depressive states debilitate many people, medication might help to control and cover it up, but it rarely heals the source of it. Think of the potential of stone healing we have to correct these inner states, and be happy. It really starts with you and me.
Stone Healing guided by the Moon…
We can use the moon to guide us in the right directions, as each day during the lunar cycle shows ascending and descending elemental energies. How to begin stone healing for depression and anger?
Of course if you under the care of a health care professional, you might already have excellent care for your situation without stone healing, but I am suggesting an alternative and complementary practice that may aid anyone who is willing to try it. Stone healing is a contemplative way of addressing our inner phenomena. It has helped me a great deal with my anger and depression. I will share what I did during a vulnerable phase on my own healing journey with stone healing a few years ago:
I begin my stone healing meditation by finding a place of privacy. As I sit in meditation with my garnet sphere tucked close to my heart, I feel it grounds me and help me express whatever feelings come up. I sit in silence for a long while being one with my stone as an anchor for the divine. Later maybe I journal my thoughts, as this relieves tensions. My stone healing meditation helps me, and I feel supported. Afterwards I always come to some new realization, such as when I own my feelings and reactions. The result is that I take my own power back. Right now this is what I truly need. I am grateful.
